No – Price is Inconsequential

At the same time, there’s no requirement to spend a small fortune on a V60, in order to brew a fantastic cup of coffee. In many instances, the price you see is attributed to nothing more than the stylishness and elaborateness of the device in question.

Truth is, a basic Hario V60 made by the device’s original manufacturer will produce just as good results as a V60 costing three, four or five times as much.  It’s therefore entirely up to you whether you go for something more premium, but doing so isn’t necessary to ensure superb and consistent results.
