ORDER PROCESSING AND SHIPPING

Free worldwide shipping on all orders.

We ship Monday to Friday and take up to one business day to process orders. This means that if you order on Monday, your specialty coffee will ship on Monday or Tuesday.

We offer free worldwide shipping by UPS, FedEx and DHL express courier, covering almost all countries and regions. 

We offer free Standard Shipping to almost all countries, which delivers orders in 3-5 business days. We also offer Expedited Shipping for €9.99, which delivers orders in 1-4 business days. Shipments to Australia, New Zealand, and Brunei take 7-10 business days with Standard Shipping and 5-9 business days with Expedited Shipping.

Once your specialty coffee is dispatched, we will send you a confirmation email with the parcel's tracking number, so that you can follow the delivery of your order.

PAYMENT AND INVOICING

We accept all major credit cards, as well as PayPal and Apple Pay. We also offer, in collaboration with Klarna, the option to split payment in 3 interest-free installments.

No, you don’t need to have a PayPal account to pay with PayPal. You just need to select PayPal as the payment method during checkout, then click on “Pay with PayPal“. You will be automatically directed to PayPal’s Guest Checkout and then you only need to click on "Pay with Debit or Credit Card". It is easy, fast, and safe.

Hayman offers you the option to pay in interest-free installments in collaboration with Klarna, one of the leading online financial services companies in the world.

To pay for your order in 3 times, interest-free, please follow these easy steps:

  1. At checkout select Klarna as the payment method;
  2. Choose your payment plan (different payment plans may be shown depending on the purchase amount and credit score);
  3. Complete your checkout (the amount will be charged based on the payment plan you chose).

The invoice of your purchase is issued on the day the order is shipped and is sent to you together with your purchase.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Orders can be returned and refunded risk-free within 90 days of delivery.

You can return your order from our website within 90 days of delivery. The specialty coffee returned must be in the same condition as it was when delivered to you, together with proof of purchase, and sent by post or courier to the following address:

We will issue the refund of your order price within one business day of receiving the returned item and the respective proof of purchase.

COMPATIBILITY OF SPECIALTY COFFEE CAPSULES AND PODS

All our fresh roasted coffees are available in capsules and pods compatible with Nespresso®* Original Line and Keurig®** K-Cup®** machines.

Our specialty coffee capsules are 100% compatible with all Nespresso®* Original Line home machines, such as with models Citiz, Essenza, U, Inissia, Pixie, Lattissima, Maestria, Prodigio, Kitchen Aid, Expert, Creatista, Essenza Mini, etc.). Please note that our specialty coffee capsules are not compatible with Nespresso®* Vertuo Line machines.

SPECIALTY COFFEE BREWING

All details count when brewing the perfect coffee.

The Comandante (manual grinder) and the Mahlkönig X54 (electric grinder) are two excellent options when it comes to coffee grinders. If possible, use a burr grinder instead of a blade one. A quality burr grinder ensures an even grind and therefore a good extraction.

The right coffee-to-water ratio is key for brewing delicious specialty coffee. Different coffees have different bean densities and sizes, and therefore it pays off to invest in a good digital scale to measure by weight, instead of using a coffee scoop.

Depending on the coffee brewing method, we suggest a specialty coffee-to-water ratio between 1:13 and 1:17. The exception is the espresso, which requires approximately 7 grams (i.e. 0.25 ounces) of finely ground coffee.

We recommend the high-quality Acaia digital scale with timer.

Given that brewed coffee is about 98% water, it is easy to understand why water quality is key when it comes to specialty coffee brewing. Whether you run tap water through a carbon filter like a Brita or opt for bottled water instead (tip: aim for water with a pH level of 7), the important thing is to make sure your water tastes good.
Never use distilled water, as the lack of minerals would negatively affect the taste of your coffee.

COFFEE STORAGE

Keep your specialty coffee fresh for longer.

We recommend storing your fresh roasted coffee in the original Hayman coffee bag, which comes with a one-way degassing valve and a zipper seal to lock in freshness, or alternatively in a hermetic container, and then placing them in a cool, dark place. Do not store your specialty coffee in the fridge or freezer, because it may introduce unwanted moisture to the beans and adversely affect the flavor of the coffee.

Try to grind your coffee just prior to brewing and grind only the amount you need. Coffee preserves freshness for much longer as whole bean than as ground.
