Our exceptional Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee achieved top ratings by Coffee Detective and Coffee Review, the world's leading specialty coffee guides. This Jamaican coffee is the only one transported across the globe in handmade, wood barrels, as opposed to the common jute sacks used for all other coffees.
The Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee is grown at a high altitude. The higher the altitude the denser the coffee bean, which translates into a richer Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. In eastern Jamaica it rains often and the climate is cool and misty, with rainbows often showing up between the hills. The rainforest-preserving trees provide shade that delays the maturation of the coffee cherries, contributing to the unique character and mildness of this speciality coffee. Hayman acquires only Grade 1 Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee, the best grade available.
Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee is a protected trademark and only entities certified by the Jamaica Agricultural Commodities Regulatory Authority (JACRA) can import and market this awesome coffee. Hayman holds Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee's foreign importer and trademark user licenses from JACRA (license no. HUL / FI & TM / PRT 620-001).
